Licensed clinical waste collection for Kent practices, care homes, clinics and science businesses, from Medway and Maidstone to Canterbury and the coast.
Licensed clinical waste collection for businesses, with full Duty of Care paperwork on every collection.

Kent is a large county with several separate hospital systems. East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust runs the Kent and Canterbury Hospital, the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford and the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital in Margate. Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust covers mid and west Kent, Medway Maritime Hospital serves Gillingham and the Medway towns, and Darent Valley Hospital serves Dartford.
NHS Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board plans services across the county. Kent and Medway Medical School, run by the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University, trains doctors in Canterbury.
Kent also has a life science base. Discovery Park in Sandwich, the former Pfizer research site, now hosts science and technology businesses. Alongside it sit a large number of care homes, dental practices, pharmacies and veterinary surgeries spread across market towns and coastal resorts.
Distance is the main challenge. A care home in Thanet and a dental practice in Sevenoaks sit at opposite ends of the county, yet both need the same standard of segregation and paperwork. We help Kent businesses set collection patterns that suit their location and keep complete Duty of Care records.
From sharps in a single treatment room to infectious, cytotoxic and pharmaceutical waste across a multi-site estate, every stream is collected compliantly and backed by the right paperwork.
One accountable partner for clinical, hazardous and specialist waste, backed by more than 25 years of regulated waste experience.
Collections for clinics, practices, care providers, labs and workplaces. We never collect from households.
Sharps, infectious, offensive, cytotoxic, pharmaceutical, anatomical, dental and laboratory waste, collected under one arrangement.
Hazardous waste consignment notes and Duty of Care records for every collection, ready for inspection.
Independently verified to meet high standards of social and environmental performance.
Tell us what you produce, how it is stored and where your sites are. We will confirm the right streams, collection routes and paperwork.
Clinical waste producers across Kent range from coastal care homes to research businesses. These four sectors make up the bulk of our Kent work.
Margate, Ramsgate, Herne Bay and Folkestone have many care and nursing homes. We collect sharps, continence waste and unwanted medicines from the colour-coded containers your care staff use on every shift.
Research and pharmaceutical businesses at Discovery Park in Sandwich produce laboratory waste, cultures and out-of-date medicines. We confirm waste codes with your team and match each stream to compliant treatment.
Primary care from Dartford to Dover produces sharps, amalgam, extracted teeth and infectious waste. We plan collections around each practice and supply the correct consignment note with every collection.
Farm, equine and small animal vets across the Weald and the North Downs handle sharps, anatomical waste and veterinary medicines. We plan collections around rural sites and record every hazardous load properly.
A simple setup with compliance built in from the first collection.
Share your waste streams, rough volumes and site details so we can match each stream to the right collection and treatment route.
Keep each stream in its own compliant, correctly labelled container in a secure storage area, ready for collection.
Collections are planned around your site, access and volumes, from a single practice to a multi-site estate.
Every collection comes with a hazardous waste consignment note and the records you need to show Duty of Care.
We serve businesses across the ME, CT, TN and DA postcode areas, including:

Any Kent organisation that produces clinical or healthcare waste is required to use a licensed collection. That includes GP and dental surgeries, care homes, pharmacies, vets, private clinics, aesthetics studios and laboratories such as those at Discovery Park. It applies equally to a busy Medway practice and a single treatment room in a market town.
Each colour points to a treatment route. Yellow marks infectious waste bound for incineration. Orange marks infectious waste that can go to alternative treatment. Yellow and black is offensive hygiene waste. Purple is cytotoxic and cytostatic medicine, blue is other medicine, red is anatomical waste and white is dental amalgam. Getting the colour right first time avoids rejected loads.
Every hazardous collection must travel with a hazardous waste consignment note, while non-hazardous streams use a waste transfer note. Keep consignment notes for at least three years as proof of your Duty of Care. We provide the correct notes at every collection, ready for a CQC inspection or internal audit.
Yes. We serve businesses across the whole county, from Medway and the Thames Gateway to the Weald, Thanet and Romney Marsh. Collection patterns are planned around your output and storage, so a rural vet or coastal care home gets the same compliant service as a town centre practice.
Collection frequency is agreed with you based on your volumes and the secure storage space you have, then reviewed if your needs change. You should have your own compliant HTM 07-01 colour-coded containers, each correctly labelled, and a secure area to keep them in. Each collection comes with the right consignment notes and Duty of Care records for your files.
No. Our clinical waste service is for businesses only. Residents should contact their local council for household clinical waste, such as Medway Council, Maidstone Borough Council or Canterbury City Council. Your GP or pharmacist can also advise on disposing of sharps used at home.
