Every business that produces waste has a legal Duty of Care to store it safely, describe it accurately and pass it only to someone authorised to take it. We handle each of those steps for you and keep the paperwork that proves it.
Licensed Collection
We collect under our own registered waste carriers licence, with trained drivers and the right containers for each waste stream.
Documented Transfer
Every collection comes with a waste transfer note, or a hazardous waste consignment note where the law requires one.
Permitted Treatment
Your waste is treated at our own Environment Agency permitted facility rather than passed along a chain of subcontractors.

What is the waste Duty of Care?
The Duty of Care is a legal requirement under the Environmental Protection Act 1990. Any business that produces, stores, carries or treats waste must keep it safe, pass it only to someone authorised to take it and record each transfer accurately.
How do I check a waste carrier is licensed?
Ask for their waste carrier registration number and check it on the Environment Agency public register. Ours is CBDU166985, and you can download the certificate from the document library above.
How long do I need to keep waste transfer notes?
Waste transfer notes must be kept for at least two years. Hazardous waste consignment notes must be kept for at least three years.
What paperwork do I get after a collection?
You receive a waste transfer note, or a hazardous waste consignment note where one is required, along with reporting that shows where your waste was treated.
