Eco Clean-Up's
Waste Experts are passionate about protecting the environment and promoting the message of sustainable waste management. Our first eco clean of the year was a huge success, after hours of diligent work from the Waste Experts team the beach was transformed. With a total of 39 miles of beach and parks covered between the team, 27kgs of rubbish was collected and sent for energy from waste, plus 21 vapes were collected and sent to our electrical waste facility for compliant disposal.
This particular initiative, undertaken with the intention of preserving marine ecosystems and raising awareness about the detrimental impacts of pollution, showcased the expertise and dedication of our teams in tackling the global waste crisis.

Waste Awareness Days
Waste Experts is committed to educating clients, students and the general public about the benefits of recycling and waste reduction. As part of our total waste management programmes and contract mobilisation we host bespoke Waste Awareness Days for our clients. The events are designed to increase awareness and engagement of our client’s waste management strategies and ensure that all stakeholders within their organisation are aligned with their environmental goals.
We also conduct toolbox talks and educational workshops on site at our clients facilities, educating participants about waste management practices, including waste reduction, reuse, repurposing and recycling. Our events create a positive impact by raising awareness, facilitating knowledge sharing, and fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.

Recycling Facility Tours
In line with our dedication to the environment, we proudly organise numerous tours of our cutting-edge Electrical Waste Recycling Facility. Our visitors encompass industry bodies, customers, suppliers, and students. These tours offer an immersive experience, allowing participants to witness first hand the advanced technology and operations of our facility. Participants gain insights into the diverse range of recyclable materials and witness our plant sorting and processing methods.
Participants are lead through the various sections of our recycling facility, where our expert teams highlight the key stages of the recycling and recovery process. This includes areas such as the material drop-off point, sorting and separation stations, manual depollution, processing machinery, and quality control areas. We highlight the specific techniques and technologies used at each stage, emphasising the significance of correct sorting and contamination reduction. We firmly believe that education plays a vital role in promoting recycling, and our tours serve as an excellent platform to engage with our clients and the broader community.

Educational Talks and Seminars
Waste Experts delivers educational talks and seminars to various community groups, cluster groups, clients, industry professionals, and educational bodies. Our friendly and knowledgeable team is available to visit schools, community organisations, workplaces, communal residences, youth clubs, volunteering groups, and more. We cover a diverse range of waste management-related topics, including waste reduction, reuse opportunities, correct segregation, compliant waste storage, and responsible disposal.

WEEE Recycling initiative
Waste Experts believes in making recycling a fun and engaging experience! That's why we organise various events and competitions to add an exciting twist to the recycling process. Recently, we collaborated with schools in West Yorkshire for an electrifying competition. The aim was simple yet impactful: encourage students to collect as much electrical waste as possible for recycling.
The enthusiasm from the participating schools was remarkable, as students eagerly embraced the challenge. They embarked on a mission to gather electrical waste items such as old chargers, broken appliances, and outdated gadgets. The competition not only sparked friendly rivalry among the schools but also served as an educational opportunity. Waste Experts provided valuable information and resources to help educate the students about the importance of recycling electronic waste and the environmental impact of diverting it from landfills.
