Licensed clinical waste collection for Bristol practices, clinics, labs and care homes, from the city centre hospital precinct to Southmead and beyond.
Licensed clinical waste collection for businesses, with full Duty of Care paperwork on every collection.

Bristol's acute care is split between two main hubs. The city centre precinct includes the Bristol Royal Infirmary, Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, Bristol Eye Hospital, Bristol Heart Institute and St Michael's Hospital. In the north of the city, Southmead Hospital's Brunel Building opened in 2014 with 800 beds.
In 2026 the two acute trusts behind these hospitals announced plans to merge as Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board plans services across the wider area, from Weston-super-Mare to the South Gloucestershire suburbs.
The University of Bristol opened a new, purpose-designed Dental School in the city centre in 2023 and trains vets at its Langford campus. Together with the hospitals, these sites produce dental, anatomical, laboratory and veterinary waste alongside everyday sharps and offensive waste.
Smaller producers matter just as much. GP practices, pharmacies, care homes and aesthetics clinics across Bristol all need licensed collection, compliant treatment and full Duty of Care documentation. We collect from your HTM 07-01 colour-coded containers and supply hazardous waste consignment notes so your records stay complete. Many of these smaller sites have limited storage, so a regular collection schedule matters.
From sharps in a single treatment room to infectious, cytotoxic and pharmaceutical waste across a multi-site estate, every stream is collected compliantly and backed by the right paperwork.
One accountable partner for clinical, hazardous and specialist waste, backed by more than 25 years of regulated waste experience.
Collections for clinics, practices, care providers, labs and workplaces. We never collect from households.
Sharps, infectious, offensive, cytotoxic, pharmaceutical, anatomical, dental and laboratory waste, collected under one arrangement.
Hazardous waste consignment notes and Duty of Care records for every collection, ready for inspection.
Independently verified to meet high standards of social and environmental performance.
Tell us what you produce, how it is stored and where your sites are. We will confirm the right streams, collection routes and paperwork.
We support businesses across Bristol and the surrounding area that produce clinical, pharmaceutical or hygiene waste.
The University of Bristol Dental School trains dentists in the city centre. Practices across Bristol need a safe route for amalgam, extracted teeth, sharps and infectious waste, and we provide it.
Small animal, equine and farm vets around Bristol and North Somerset produce sharps, medicines, infectious waste and animal tissue. We collect each stream under the correct veterinary waste codes.
Private GP, cosmetic, physiotherapy and aesthetics clinics in Clifton, Redland and the city centre produce sharps, dressings and medicines. We plan collections around the limited storage in treatment rooms.
Residential and nursing homes from Kingswood to Portishead produce offensive hygiene waste, incontinence products and medicines. Regular collections and correct tiger bag use keep storage tidy and safe.
A simple setup with compliance built in from the first collection.
Share your waste streams, rough volumes and site details so we can match each stream to the right collection and treatment route.
Keep each stream in its own compliant, correctly labelled container in a secure storage area, ready for collection.
Collections are planned around your site, access and volumes, from a single practice to a multi-site estate.
Every collection comes with a hazardous waste consignment note and the records you need to show Duty of Care.
We cover the BS postcode area, including North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, plus neighbouring parts of BA.
From a single clinic in Clifton to a group of practices across North Somerset, every site gets the same licensed service and documentation.

Any Bristol business that produces sharps, infectious waste, medicines or offensive hygiene waste needs a licensed collection. That covers GP and dental practices, pharmacies, care homes, vets, private clinics, research labs, tattoo studios and aesthetics clinics. Workplaces with occupational health services or first aid rooms may also need a service.
Match the container to the waste using HTM 07-01. Infectious waste goes in orange or yellow, depending on its treatment route. Offensive waste goes in tiger bags. Medicines go in blue-lidded containers, with purple lids for cytotoxic items. Anatomical waste needs red lids and amalgam has its own container. Your team must use the correct one for each stream.
Hold hazardous waste consignment notes for at least three years and waste transfer notes for non-hazardous waste for at least two years. Keep your carrier's licence details on file too. Together these prove you have met your Duty of Care. We provide the documents with every collection, so nothing goes missing.
Yes. Veterinary practices produce sharps, unused medicines, infectious waste and animal tissue, and equine and farm vets often generate larger items. Your practice segregates each stream, and we collect under veterinary waste codes with full documentation, covering practices across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
We set a regular collection pattern with you, for example weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Your site needs its own compliant HTM 07-01 colour-coded containers, labelled correctly for each waste stream, and a secure storage area out of public reach. We provide licensed collection and the consignment notes and Duty of Care records that go with it. We can adjust frequency whenever your volumes change.
No. Our service is for businesses only. Bristol residents who need sharps or clinical waste collected from home should contact Bristol City Council. If you live in North Somerset or South Gloucestershire, contact your own council. Your GP or pharmacist can also help you get a sharps bin.
