Overview
What School Waste Management Involves
Schools and colleges produce more regulated waste than most people expect: IT suites and interactive screens on rolling refresh cycles, fluorescent lighting, batteries from devices and emergency lighting, and chemicals from science labs. Each has its own legal requirements. We collect them together, plan visits around the school calendar and give your business manager one clear record of where everything went.

Compliance
School Waste Regulations
Schools, colleges and universities have the same Duty of Care for waste as any business, under section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. IT and electrical equipment falls under the WEEE Regulations 2013, fluorescent tubes and many lab chemicals are hazardous waste, and devices holding personal data bring UK GDPR duties too.
We provide the transfer notes, consignment notes and data destruction certificates that show you've met each one.
