Under our Confidential Disposal Services business, we specialise in IT disposal, data destruction and asset management and are approved to the highest UK security levels. Our seamless environmental sustainability model combined with data protection principles, ensures that our customers receive a highly compliant solution with complete traceability. We offer a nationwide service and can collect assets with our own secure vehicles to destroy in our facilities, or we can carry out on-site destruction as required.
Our services meet all WEEE and GDPR Regulations, plus we are highly accredited with all industry relevant bodies. All waste collected from our customers sites are transferred to our state-of-the-art recycling and treatment facility in Huddersfield. We recycle approximately 96% of the waste we collect and aim to divert 100% of waste from landfill. Our treatment facility is recognised as a benchmark best practice installation which is used by both the Environment Agency and DEFRA for training and reference purposes.
Any breach of GDPR can result in a fine of up to 4% of annual global turnover or €20 million. One of our unique service offerings for protecting your data is our “Data POD”. Our POD range are a compact, space saving way to hold and store electronic equipment that contains relevant and sensitive data. Examples of data bearing items are laptops, phones, memory sticks, hard drives and tablets. Once the Data POD has been filled it will be securely transferred to our facility where the equipment is compliantly and securely shredded. A Certificate of Destruction will be supplied once the final destruction process has been completed.
